"Child
of Destiny" was founded in February 2002
by Joseph Symmon and AlyceJo Mwangi. After
thirty one years of marriage, three biological
children (June, Marcus and Cynthia), over
one hundred orphans at Jubilee Children Center
in Ruai, Nairobi, pioneering Believers Faith
Church in 1987, and now ministering and fundraising
with a base in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, they
still felt God calling them to do more.
AlyceJo has a passion to help children because
she herself was an orphan in Elburgon, Kenya.
AlyceJo tells a beautiful story of how a total
stranger from New York took her in, saw something
special and that his dedication, love and
compassion changed her Destiny forever. |

Five
years ago Child Of Destiny, USA, commenced
the support of Jubilee Children Center Nairobi,
Kenya to make a difference in the lives of
orphaned children roaming in the streets and
slums of Kenya, scavenging for food. They
were victims of the death of both parents
from HIV/AIDS pandemic. Joe Symmon and AlyceJo
Mwangi stepped out to change the lives of
these vulnerable orphans.
We are overwhelmed by the love and generous
support we have received over the years from
our caring partners. |
